In these Terms & Conditions:

• "We", "Us", "Our" refers to tesseross, registered in Singapore at 5 Straits View, #22-01, Singapore 018936
• "You", "Renter", "Client" refers to the individual or entity entering into a rental agreement
• "Vehicle" means any motor vehicle rented from tesseross
• "Rental Period" means the duration from collection to return as specified in the rental agreement
• "Agreement" means the rental contract executed between both parties
• "Category" refers to Foundation Tile, Pattern Tile, or Centrepiece Tile service tiers

By reserving, collecting, or operating a vehicle from tesseross, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

The rental agreement signed at vehicle handover incorporates these Terms & Conditions by reference. Both documents constitute the complete agreement between parties.

You must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driving licence to enter into a rental agreement with tesseross.

tesseross provides premium vehicle rental services across three categories:

Foundation Tile

Luxury sedans for daily hire with 200km mileage allowance, 26-hour return window, and vehicle walkthrough.

Pattern Tile

Grand tourers and sport sedans with 300km mileage allowance, personality profiles, and premium fuel guidance.

Centrepiece Tile

Curated experiences with rare vehicles, including private viewing, accompanied drive, and professional photography.

Services are available subject to fleet availability. We reserve the right to substitute vehicles within the same category if mechanical issues arise.

To rent a vehicle, you must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum age of 18 years
• Valid driving licence held for at least two years
• National identity card or passport for verification
• Contactable address in Singapore or region
• Credit or debit card for security deposit

Pattern and Centrepiece categories may require additional driving experience verification. We reserve the right to refuse rental if eligibility criteria are not met.

Rental bookings follow this process:

1. Submit enquiry through website form or direct contact
2. Receive availability confirmation and vehicle assignment
3. Review and execute rental agreement
4. Provide identification and payment details
5. Collect vehicle at scheduled time with handover briefing

Bookings become binding upon payment of rental fee. Cancellation terms apply as specified in Section 7.

Rental fees are payable in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and include:

• Base daily or experience rate for selected category
• Comprehensive insurance with standard excess
• Specified mileage allowance
• Vehicle preparation and handover briefing

Additional Charges:

• Mileage exceeding allowance: SGD 0.80 per kilometer
• Late return fee: SGD 50 per hour after grace period
• Fuel replacement if not returned at collection level
• Cleaning fee for excessive interior soiling: SGD 150
• Smoking in vehicle: SGD 300 penalty
• Traffic violation administrative fee: SGD 75 per offense

Security deposits are held during rental period and refunded within 7 business days after return, subject to condition verification and any outstanding charges.

Cancellation fees apply based on notice provided:

• More than 7 days before collection: 25% of rental fee
• 3-7 days before collection: 50% of rental fee
• 1-2 days before collection: 75% of rental fee
• Less than 24 hours or no-show: 100% of rental fee

Centrepiece Tile bookings require 14 days notice for partial refund due to scheduling complexity.

We may cancel bookings due to mechanical issues, providing full refund or alternative vehicle in same category. We are not liable for consequential losses from such cancellations.

During the rental period, you agree to:

• Operate vehicle in accordance with Singapore traffic laws
• Maintain reasonable care and custody of the vehicle
• Check fluid levels and tire pressures periodically
• Not exceed passenger capacity or load limits
• Not use vehicle for commercial purposes or ride-sharing
• Not permit unauthorized drivers to operate vehicle
• Not remove vehicle from Singapore without written permission
• Not participate in racing, competitions, or illegal activities
• Not tow or push other vehicles
• Not transport hazardous materials
• Report accidents or mechanical issues immediately

All rentals include comprehensive insurance with the following terms:

• Third-party liability coverage as required by Singapore law
• Collision damage with standard excess of SGD 3,000
• Theft protection with police report requirement
• Optional excess reduction available at additional cost

Insurance does not cover:

• Damage resulting from driver negligence or violation of terms
• Interior damage including upholstery, electronics, or accessories
• Tire or wheel damage from curbing or road hazards
• Windscreen chips or cracks (separate excess applies)
• Keys or remote fobs lost or damaged

You are liable for the excess amount for any insured incident. Full policy terms are available upon request.

At collection, you will receive vehicle in clean condition with documented pre-existing marks. Photographic records are created and reviewed with you.

At return, vehicle must be presented:

• Within agreed return window
• At same location as collection unless arranged otherwise
• With fuel level matching collection (tolerance: within one bar)
• In clean condition (interior and exterior)
• With all accessories and documentation

Condition inspection occurs at return. New damage is documented and charged according to repair costs. You will receive itemized invoice for any charges applied.

In the event of accident, breakdown, or theft:

1. Ensure safety of all parties involved
2. Contact tesseross immediately at +65 6471 8923
3. File police report if accident involves injury or significant damage
4. Do not admit liability at the scene
5. Obtain contact details and insurance information from other parties
6. Document scene with photographs if safe to do so
7. Complete accident report form provided by tesseross

Roadside assistance is arranged for mechanical breakdowns. Alternative transport may be provided depending on circumstances and availability.

Failure to report incidents within 24 hours may result in insurance claim denial and full liability for damages.

You are responsible for all traffic violations, parking fines, and road usage charges incurred during the rental period.

If violations are processed through tesseross, we will forward notices to you along with SGD 75 administrative fee per offense.

Failure to settle violations may result in denial of future bookings and potential legal action for recovery of unpaid amounts.

tesseross's liability is limited as follows:

• We are not liable for personal injury or property damage arising from your use of the vehicle
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
• Maximum liability is limited to the rental fees paid for the specific booking
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or fitness for particular purpose

This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted under Singapore law.

You agree to indemnify and hold tesseross harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your operation or use of the vehicle
• Violation of these Terms & Conditions
• Violation of applicable laws or regulations
• Third-party claims related to your rental

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is owned by tesseross and protected by Singapore intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

For Centrepiece bookings, you retain rights to photographs taken during your experience. Professional images may be used by tesseross for marketing purposes with your consent.

Personal data collected during the booking and rental process is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act.

By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, you consent to data collection and use as described in our Privacy Policy.

In the event of disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions or rental agreements:

1. Contact us at [email protected] to attempt informal resolution
2. If informal resolution fails, disputes may be referred to mediation
3. As a last resort, disputes will be resolved through Singapore courts

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts for any legal proceedings.

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Invalid provisions will be replaced with valid provisions that most closely reflect the original intent.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with updated effective date.

Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

Material changes affecting existing bookings will be communicated directly via email.
